I love it when one part of the tape is a different color than the rest. What do they call that, the flap? Well it's usually either grey or red, but still it's pretty cool.
Just discovered your blog. I remember cutting school to catch this film on cable. Delightful. Found the DVD for $3.99 not too long ago, too. Great blog, and I'll be coming on here more in the future.
Great blog, I loved this movie as a kid, my mother brought it home one night from blockbuster and handed it over telling me not to stay up to late watching it. Before that I was forbidden to watch horror movies.
Pardon the lack of cover scan, my scanner was half-broken to begin with and it decided to break entirely recently...
ReplyDeleteThis tape is entirely uncut with the original soundtrack.

ReplyDeleteI grew up with this film, it's awesome! And owning a Japanese VHS of it is just an awesome novelty.

I have the japanese laserdisc and your claim that it's uncut is misleading. It's identical to the cut US release except it has burnt in jap subs.
