Friday the 13th, Part VI: Jason (Fucking) Lives (1986) - Paramount's 1986 & 1988 VHS

.
This isn't a particularly rare tape, but I found it interesting that there are layout differences between the 1986 (Left/Top) and 1988 (Right/Bottom) cassettes. This box has a $79.95 sticker on its spine. Hehehe...

Thats one of my favorites from the series, I like the atmosphere in it, and the look of Jason himself.

Damn, I remember when movies on VHS were that expensive! It was prohibitive to have movies back then. And youd pay 80 bucks just so that a couple of years down the road the tape would get tangled in your VHS player....or rot away...

Great page, great scans. Yeah, Paramount Home Video changed their font type sometime in '87 to a more thinner and sleeker font...and when they produced more of their back catalog, the newer stock had the newer labels. In 1989, Paramount would change their label style all together.

...do you dare tread upon the staircase?
