Dug this one out for David Z over at the epic TOMB IT MAY CONCERN. A Joe D'Amato actioner starring Luc Merenda that ended up as the title of David's awesome Italian Warsploitation tome, Tough to Kill: The Italian Action Explosion, Vol. 1 (grab it here). This NTSC release from Lettuce Entertain You, that also released Luigi Cozzi's Contamination (1980) as "Toxic Spawn", used the British Mr. Video cover and just slapped their sticker on the back. I have to hunt around my boxes, I had a version of this tape, but it was a small box edition with the same art. I wonder if it was a US rip off of the Lettuce Entertain You version? Very awesome! I'll scan up the Japanese edition and post it shortly.

I love this film, it has remained way to obscure, even with a (shady) US release on DVD.

You're the only other person I've seen with this Canadian tape. Mine is identical, same sticker. Such an awesome film. I don't think I own any other videos on the Mr Video label but can't say for sure without looking. Wish I knew more about some of the obscure Canadian tape companies I have tapes from.
