Dude, you're top 10 list of the decade is awesome! The only two I can't agree with are the two I haven't seen yet, Going Home and Kairo. I'm really glade to see that Session 9 and The Devil's Backbone made it. And Martyrs at #1... nice!

P.S. - I got a Blu-Ray player for Christmas, and just ordered Martyrs and Let the Right One In on BD from Amazon.uk. I can't freakin' wait!

Thanks guys! Anthony, glad you made the Blu leap! Be careful though, I think the British Martyrs Blu-ray is Region B locked :(

Unsure about Let the Right One In's regioning, but I heard a few weeks ago American Blu-rays have been popping up with the correct theatrical English subtitles.

Let the Right One In is Region free, but Martyrs is Region B. Fear not, for I have a Momitsu player. I laugh at Region codes. Ha!

Cool, I kinda figured you had the Momitsu, I need to get one of those!

Let The Right One In is killer. And High Tension is probably my absolute favorite film of the last ten years... unfortunately I haven't seen Martyrs(really f'n want to) because the rental version is CUT and I'm not dropping the cash for a standard. Meh.

Lists like this make me wish you'd win the Powerball Mega Jackpot, because I imagine you starting your own movie studio and grabbing America by its ears. ---> http://www.zforzombies.com/2010/01/i-guess-sometimes-past-just-catches-up.html

Nice to see some "Session 9" love. It's on my list as well.

Martyrs was probably my least favorite movie I watched in the last decade, maybe ever. Otherwise, GREAT LIST!

Im going to have to rewatch Marebito, I remember thinking it was just the Asian Jenifer. You and Kim both seem to have a lot of love for the film.

...do you dare tread upon the staircase?
