Found this photo from Don Dohler's Blood Massacre while looking through an issue of Gary Svehla's Midnight Marquee (#43/Winter '92) published right here in Baltimore. The magazine's accompanying review fills in some gaps in my thoughts back in March. Apparently, the feature was indeed completed in 1987 as Dohler ran into enormous financial problems that halted the release until 1991. Also the film's negative somehow became heavily damaged, so a workprint was used for the VHS transfer, which explains the shower of debris all over the presentation. Great pic, man. I have yet to see BLOOD MASSACRE, I only have seen the clips they show in the Dohler documentary BLOOD, BOOBS AND BEAST.

Probably the nearest "official" release it'll ever get (aside from the tape). That set also has Las Vegas Blood Bath, another once-rare SOV pile of stupid (worth it for the forced abortion via knife scene)

The link to the trailer is a link to my youtube page. The DVD release was a transfer from VHS (I did the VHS transfer and gave it to Don Dohler) then Don edited it for a DVD release.
