The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970) - VCI Entertainment VHS (Rosita Torosh Cover)

.
Long day at work today (and tomorrow), so to keep it short here's one of VCI Entertainment's harder to find clamshells of Dario Argento's foundational giallo, L'uccello dalle piume di cristallo. For some unknown reason, VCI also issued a variant cover that doesn't feature Torosh on the front but continues the "kidney bean red" on both sides of the blade. I'm unsure which came first, no dates anywhere on the cover or cassette, but I've seen the Torosh-less cover more than this one.

This is the best condition-wise I've come across so far of either cover. Others I've seen are badly faded or damaged in some way. Also of note is how this cover is slightly smaller in both width and height compared to most clamshells. It's unique slightly smaller "puffy-style" case reflects this. It's one where you must have the original clam in order for it to "look right" on the shelf.
