After being rained out at work I bebopped over to my nearest swap meet and pretty much encountered a dead zone. I spied a nothing special Anchor Bay VHS clamshell of Halloween but while trying to be civil the prick seller grumpily muttered it's "not for sale unless you have twenty bucks." I just laughed and walked off to then find what you see above not even fifteen feet away! Thorn EMI's Betamax of Dawn of the Dead which is the very first home video (along with the VHS version) ever released in America. Later Thorn EMI (which then became HBO/Cannon Video) re-released the film with the same artwork in a standard cardboard slipcover. This Beta was only one U.S. dollar, time to blast some Goblin...
