When Box Damage Becomes Glorious

Sometimes you find ol' big boxes that are so damaged that you can't help but love them. This one has endured twenty-five years of abuse to get to me. It's all messed up with extreme edge wear and crush creases, but it all rather compliments the lurid artwork.

I think it has something, with the edge wear . Seems like it's been rented out a lot. I don't care either if they are sun fadded or so.

I can't stand sun faded covers actually. A little is okay, but it seems most sellers don't mention that. Needless to say I've sometimes unknowingly paid good money for such blasted covers that they look nearly white. Though yea, most damage and even cut boxes don't annoy me.

Also slobulus (thanks for the add!), check Amazon, I'm pretty sure a few sellers have cheap copies of that tape. If you just want to see the movie, Troma released it in a DVD box set.

I feel the same way. I don't mind how cut up the damn box is (as long as it ain't a dang jigsaw puzzle), but sun damage just kills me. A little is okay, but when it gets to the point that you can barely even tell what the hell you're lookin' at, that just pisses me right the hell off.

...do you dare tread upon the staircase?
